March Update

February was a pretty eventful month! We had one of our largest events of the semester, Pizza Theology this past Sunday.

(This picture is from the very back of the room, the auditorium was nearly full!)

This semester our Pizza Theology topic was over the Second Coming of Christ. It was helpful to gain more insight on this topic because it's sometimes it's a bit hard for people to wrap their heads around. Pizza Theology is one of my favorite events because all of the campuses come together to learn more about our faith and I get to see a few of my friends from other campuses. I am so thankful to be a part of a community where so many people value learning about their faith. To the point where over 400 students spend 4 hours on a Sunday night listening to lectures! Brandon, Sarah K, and Miriam did a great job on tackling such a deep and expansive topic. One thing that I appreciate about Pizza Theology is that the speakers don't claim to know everything about the topic or to have all of the answers. Ultimately, their goal is to equip the listeners with the resources on how to think and further explore the subject. The staff definitely met that goal and I know that everyone learned a lot about the Second Coming!

  1. Hey Dawn! Good stuff. I love Pizza Theology each semester, and I'm always so encouraged by students who are so willing to take the time to learn about God and understand the scripture on a deeper level. It makes me so hopeful for the future when I see so many young people really pursuing God.

    Love you Dawn!!
