June Update!

This month was one of the busiest months of the year! SICM was a jammed packed 10 days and I was pretty tired by the end but it was so so so good! I went as a student 4 years ago, so it was so nice to have a refresher on all of the courses. I will be leading core again next year and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to go back through the material. I included some pictures from the trip below!

There were also 2 baptisms at SICM this year! One student from UTD and one from UTA. It was so encouraging that they chose to include the body of Christ in their decisions to commit their lives to the Lord. Being a part of that experience was really meaningful for me and I know it was meaningful for everyone else as well. 

Also the end of May means my apprenticeship has officially ended! This year flew by and I am so thankful that I was able to do the apprenticeship with Rhett, Eddie, Caitlin, Kristen and Jalen! They are now some of my closest friends and I truly cherish my friendships with all of them. I'm going to miss Eddie and Caitlin as they transition off of FOCUS staff, but I'm excited to work with Rhett, Jalen and Kristen again next year!

My sweet friend Christina who is a CCF intern. She came down for SSI week 3 years ago and this past March. Christina drove me and a few other girls all week. I was so thankful to get to hang out with her a bit!
